AÍLA é uma das principais vozes da música contemporânea da Amazônia.
Nascida na Terra Firme, periferia de Belém, a artista traz diversidade e inovação na sua trajetória, é cantora, compositora, cineasta, diretora artística e musical, além de criadora de festivais pioneiros na Região Norte do país, como o MANA, que destaca o protagonismo das mulheres amazônidas no mercado da música.
Com letras de amor e temas “artivistas”, envoltas pela música popular feita nas bordas do Brasil, AÍLA instiga e faz vibrar. Entre referências sonoras e visuais que mesclam o Pará e o mundo, a artista também ecoa reflexões necessárias para o agora, como questões de gênero e feminismo. Com quatro discos lançados, vários singles, e milhões de plays nas plataformas de streaming, suas turnês já circularam por palcos emblemáticos, como Rock in Rio (BRA), Central Park (Nova Iorque, EUA) e COP28 (Dubai, Emirados Árabes).
No disco mais recente, "Sentimental", AÍLA inaugura uma nova fase na sua carreira, uma imersão ainda maior nos ritmos populares brasileiros, sons que ditam a música pop, e que nascem nas periferias do país. A artista exalta a música pop da Amazônia, em um álbum que é uma avalanche rítmica, com brega, calypso, brega funk e pisadinha.
Atuando em várias frentes, em 2022, foi também diretora musical da NAVE no Rock in Rio, que levou mais de 50 artistas amazônidas para o maior festival de música do mundo. Em 2023, assinou a direção musical, juntamente com Russo Passapusso, do espetáculo POROROCA, um ato em defesa da Amazônia, que aconteceu em Nova Iorque (EUA), com transmissão pelo canal Multishow. Ainda no mesmo ano, juntamente com a artista visual Roberta Carvalho, criou e assinou a direção artística-musical da intervenção Amazônia: uma experiência imersiva, que aconteceu em Belém, na Cúpula da Amazônia, para presidentes de vários países da amazônia internacional, e posteriormente em uma re-apresentação na COP 28, em Dubai, para chefes de estado do mundo todo.
Seu mais recente feito é a direção do filme MESTRAS (2024), o primeiro longa documentário do Pará a entrar no maior festival de cinema do Brasil, o Festival de Gramado. MESTRAS é um mergulho poético na riqueza cultural e na força de mulheres que têm papel fundamental na manutenção das tradições musicais da Amazônia. Uma viagem pelas vertentes sonoras da região, desde o samba de cacete ao carimbó, através de Mestras como Iolanda do Pilão, Miloca, Bigica e Dona Onete. O filme também entrelaça a história de vida da narradora, com um drama pessoal da perda de sua avó que partiu nas águas do mar de uma Amazônia Atlântica que poucos conhecem, convidando-nos a refletir sobre novos destinos, sonhos herdados e resiliência das mulheres.

AÍLA is one of the leading voices in contemporary music from the Amazon.
Born in Terra Firme— on the outskirts of Belém — she brings diversity and innovation to her career as a singer, songwriter, filmmaker, and artistic and musical director. She is also the creator of pioneering festivals in Brazil’s North region, such as MANA, which highlights the leading role of Amazonian women in the music industry.
With lyrics about love and "artivist" themes—wrapped in popular music born on the fringes of Brazil—AÍLA stirs the soul and electrifies audiences. Blending sonic and visual references from Pará and the wider world, she also amplifies reflections vital to the present moment, such as issues of gender and feminism. With four albums, numerous singles, and millions of streams to her name, she has performed on iconic stages including Rock in Rio (Brazil), Central Park (New York, USA), and COP28 (Dubai, UAE).
On her latest album, *Sentimental*, AÍLA launches a new phase in her career, diving even deeper into Brazilian popular rhythms—sounds that shape pop music and originate in the country's outskirts. She champions Amazonian pop music in an album that serves as a rhythmic avalanche, featuring genres like brega, calypso, brega funk, and pisadinha.
Active on multiple fronts, she served as the musical director for NAVE at Rock in Rio in 2022, bringing over 50 Amazonian artists to the world's largest music festival. In 2023, she co-directed the music for the show *POROROCA* alongside Russo Passapusso; this event—a performance in defense of the Amazon—took place in New York (USA) and was broadcast on the Multishow channel. That same year, together with visual artist Roberta Carvalho, he created and served as artistic and musical director for the intervention *Amazon: An Immersive Experience*. It was first presented in Belém at the Amazon Summit for presidents of various nations within the Amazon region, and later restaged at COP28 in Dubai for heads of state from around the world.
Her latest achievement is directing the film MESTRAS (2024), the first feature-length documentary from Pará to be selected for Brazil's largest film festival, the Gramado Film Festival. MESTRAS is a poetic immersion into the cultural richness and strength of women who play a pivotal role in preserving Amazonian musical traditions. It is a journey through the region's diverse musical styles—ranging from samba de cacete to carimbó—guided by Mestras (master practitioners) such as Iolanda do Pilão, Miloca, Bigica, and Dona Onete. The film also intertwines the narrator's life story with the personal drama of losing her grandmother—who passed away in the waters of the Atlantic Amazon, a region few are familiar with—inviting us to reflect on new destinies, inherited dreams, and female resilience.
